Previously Underpinned Houses Our policies are specially designed to give you the cover you need at a very competitive price. We will need supporting documentation, which hopefully have in your possession, such as structural engineer’s report or a full survey report, detailing the cause and the remedy of the subsidence/underpinning. Selling underpinned houses can be complicated, so if at a later date you sell we ensure that cover can be offered to the new owners, without any issues.
Please note that your property must have been underpinned/remedial works completed at least 5 years ago, without any subsequent problems, for us to provide a quote. To ensure an acceptable monitoring period has now elapsed.
